New Oregon State Record Whitetail

A new Oregon State record whitetail deer was taken in 2013 by 14 year old Kailey Smith in Umatilla County the buck officially measured 178 6/8 p.y. It is the largest archery typical whitetail taken in the Pacific Northwest, Washington, Oregon, Idaho and is a 4/8" larger than the Oregon State Record whitetail deer taken by Sterling Shavers in Wallowa County 1982 the rifle category.
